The hadith says Muhammad copied people of the Scripture and pagans and there was no order from Allah for him to do that. We can see a lot of pagan Arabic practices that are assimilated into Islam by Muhammad and his followers. Muhammad deceived his followers back then, who were closest to him, how more will modern day Muslims be misled by him also...
