  3. I don't like them. I have worked for a developer in Houston and he was the most immoral and greedy person I ever met. He and Donald Trump could have married each other and been very happy, swiping wealth from the city around them. These pencil skyscrapers are still 3/4 empty because no one except multi-billionaires can afford to live in them. A lot of the apartments in them are owned by Saudis or rich Chinese who use them entirely for investment. The Chinese will lose most of their wealth in the next 10 years, and the Saudis are turning towards Russia instead of the U.S. I think most of these horrendous things will sit empty for years until the developers go bankrupt. They're nothing more than trophy building representing the boom of the 2010s. As Solomon wrote thousands of years ago: "Vanity of Vanity. All is vanity."

  4. Tower Fifth is the ugliest most ungainly hideous monstrosity ever built in New York. The blocky Logo style is already completely dated. I hope it's never built - at least with this horrible design. The architects must have been hallucinating when they drew it up, and the developer, greedy as hell, will build a high-rise prison if he could. Furthermore, since the Lego look in towers has already gone out of vogue, this tower will be a white elephant before the foundations are even poured. The city government should be ashamed of themselves for accepting such a nasty piece of crap looming over New York's skyline!
