  2.  @miloslavski6149  In Sept 2023 a few weeks before Oct 7, Netanyahu showed a Plan for Greater Israel to the UN in which Israel had annexed Gaza with a much reduced (almost non existent) Palestinian population. Netanyahu had been planning on taking Gaza for a very long time. Oct 7 gave him the excuse he needed which is why he allowed it to happen.
