  1. April 14, 1947 Jewish Refugees arrived on a ship in Palestine after being turned away from other Countries. They waved a banner which read "The Germans destroyed our homes and families, don't you destroy our hopes"! The Palestinians took them into their land and their homes. Now they are being slaughtered.
