  2. Islam is much more closely aligned to Christianity than Judaism is. Muslims revere Jesus as the greatest Prophet and Son of the Virgin Mary. The Jews called Mary an adulterer and Jesus the son of an adulterer and a liar. When Pontius Pilot gave Jews the choice to save either Jesus or Barabas, they chose to save the murderer Barabas (not surprised) and sacrificed Jesus!
