  1. While a single mom in the US gets $1,200 in Covid relief, the economic rescue plan provides that 43,000 millionaire real estate developers will get an average payment of $1.6 million each. And Trump and Kushner will probably be beneficiaries. I find this infuriating: Trump and his allies are seeking to tighten food stamp eligibility and push millions off health insurance -- in the middle of a pandemic! -- even as they hand out vast sums for wealthy donors, with no need to show that they've even be affected by the economic crisis. This is one more example of rugged capitalism for ordinary Americans, and socialism for the rich.
