  2.  @lukemn29  I am so thankful to know that our own president did not incite an insurrection. If he had done so, it would have been an all-time low for the history of our country. What a relief! And I say relief, because until you informed me that he hadn’t done so, I was actually thinking that he might have. I hope you can understand how I misunderstood the situation. I was thinking that most of those people didn’t live in DC. I thought the only reason they were there was because he sent out a call for them to come. And I saw them assembled as he and Rudy and all of his supporters addressed them. And I did hear him tell them to be peaceful. But I also knew he had urged them to come saying it would “be wild”. A few thousand people peacefully walking around DC doesn’t sound wild to me. I’m not sure what he meant. But I did hear his personal attorney, what’s his name? You know, the guy with the hair dye running down his face. The one who lied to the legislators in Georgia. The one with the press conference at the lawn care place. Giuliani! That’s it. Anyway I did hear him call for “Trial by combat”. And I did hear Mr Trump tell them something about fighting like hell, or they wouldn’t have a country anymore. And then I noticed a short while later that a lot of those people who he had urged to come on that very specific day, did stop standing around and rushed the Capitol. I saw what looked like hand to hand combat. I saw people battling the Capitol police. I saw them breaking windows and running through the building. I heard them calling for VP Pence to be brought out and hung. And it was all shortly after Trump spoke. So you can see why I thought he had incited them. I think it was an easy mistake to make. I would hate thinking that a United States President had done such a despicable thing.. I guess it was just one huge unfortunate string of coincidences. I tell you right now, I will sleep well tonight knowing how silly I have been to thing he was such a horrible leader for so long. BTW, it really isn’t right for so many of those people who got arrested to blame their actions on him, saying they thought they were doing what he wanted them to do. If I was him, I would be really upset with them for blaming their unlawful acts on me. What a bunch of low life jerks!
