Meanwhile, the Republicans are holding raising the debt ceiling hostage until the Biden administration agrees to make cuts to things that matter to the working class and poor. Things like veterans benefits, food assistance, Medicaid, Social Security, etc. Yet, you never hear them mention making billionaires pay their fair share of taxes to help pay back the debt they helped create.
