  1. I am from Uttar Pradesh. Till 10 years ago nobody was lynched here for eating beef and even Hindus openly ate beef. For last 8 years people are scared to say they eat beef. On Navratri people are forced to eat vegetarian food even if they do not want to eat it. This is definitely assault on civil liberties. The US report is right especially for the state of Uttar Pradesh.
