  11.  @tokachinter1  I prefer my own thinking to the editors views and there are some points they dont cover! I accept that ruzzias expected economic growth is higher than almost all western countries BUT where did that growth come from? It came from russia putting its industry on to a war footing and kremlin buying home produced weapons and ammo as fast as it can be produced. So russian treasury is emptying fast to pay for all this single use stuff like ammo and it goes onto their growth forecast even tho it does not have a positive outcome. Are western sanctions failing? I accept russia has found ways to get around sanctions mostly thru 3rd parties but at what cost? and for the western companies they get to indirectly sell to russia while russia is burdened with a higher drain on the treasury! That is why putin gets sulky about sanctions. Add in the enormous cost from the russian social fund and vastly increased wages cost for the army plus constant repairs to equipment and now infrastructure (ie oil refineries) and russia cannot sustain the war. Hope that makes sense
