  26.  @aleks2929  that has a very wide range as nobody knows the true figures some claim 350,000 russian KIA which i dont believe. A best guess on my part is 150,000 KIA and double that of wounded as that makes sense with current deployments and known losses as in russian command statements like pigosin 30k in Bahkmut For Ukraine it is less readily available but I would put it at around 80,000 KIA and again double that for wounded russia has certainly lost far more troops with its continuous frontal assaults but the the russian attitude is they can afford to lose more. Plus a lot of russian casualties this year are convicts and migrants. Although russia believes it can afford more losses I dont believe that is true as russia already has a decreasing population due to poverty mostly and the losses in Ukraine will hit in both the economy and future population. A prime reason for russia stealing children! I would be interested in what your media says too

You claim Ukraine was ethnically cleansing russian speakers but that makes no sense 1. the only claims of genocide came from the kremlin and they now deny ever making those claims 2. Does it make any sense to ethnically cleanse in 2 oblasts when all the rest of Ukraine has russian speaker too and living in peace. putin telling Ukraine to stop killing russians is ironic as putin is arming the militias and sending troops to kill Ukranians 3. If Ukraine was just slaughtering civilians how come the civilians are trained and armed? Do you know of any country where the civilians have weapons including missile artillery and anti air?? 4. The claims of genocide were investigated by several independent organisations including UN and "little to no evidence" against Ukraine BUT "substantial evidence" against russia 5. wagner is a mercenary group with ultranationalist (nazi) principles and was paid by the kremlin to reinforce the militias not stop the non existant genocide 6. Those militias were trained in russia funded by russia and armed by russia As for the start of the war russia was happy with an independent Ukraine as long as it was run by a russian government that putin controlled but Maidan kicked out putins puppets and further russian troops moved into Ukraine because putin lost control of the govt You dont say how Ukraine broke the MINSK agreements but that is irrelevant as russia didnt even begin to comply with either Ukraine did want to join NATO and even more so today for the same reason Estonia Latvia Lithuania Romania Bulgaria Slovakia Hungary....... all wanted to join because they do not want to be russian, or russian controlled or russian oppressed As for the border NATO and russia already share borders and putin sees NATO as such a threat he withdrew the troops from the NATO borders to fight in Ukraine!! IF NATO troops do ever go to Ukraine it will be because they were invited not by force
