@veronicanicholls7132 What you are actually saying is that the king is an intelligent, civilized man, who is open to new ideas and who is not a closed-minded bigot. These are qualities that are sadly lacking in our politicians, and they are what will make him an excellent monarch.

I defy you to give a definition of "woke". It generally appears to be shorthand for "does not share my bigotry".

@Velle non discitur That concept is about as helpful as the Gramscian contention that what passes for common sense is actually the oppression of the proletariat by the bourgeoisie.

Yes, and look what happened to her. She had a better claim than Stephen of Blois, but was so impossible to work with that even her staunchest allies eventually gave up.

Klaus Schwab founded the WEF in 1971. the then Prince Charles addressed the WEF in 2020. You have fallen for an insane conspiracy theory. See Tim Cohen's book The Antichrist and the Cup of Tea , which is proof positive that there is no limit at all on what garbage can be published.

He has an extraordinary way of showing his atheism then. Regular attendance at church, a profound interest in spiritual matters, regular recipent of Holy Communion. What more do you want?

@darlaf.seeley8292 "Thou knowest, Lord, the secret of out hearts" - but an "obvious atheist" would surely have broken cover at some time in the last 74 years. In Britain, moreover, it is regarded as rather poor taste, particularly in the case of public figures, and especially in political (however defined) personages, to be vociferously religious. A former bishop of Durham once said something along the lines of "For many people who do not believe in God, the clinching argument is the bahaviour of other people who go around loudly yelling that they do."

Why don't you try ding a bit of research if that is a genuine question?

@Bluebell Flora I know that when you subscribe to conspiracy theories, facts fly out the window, but there is no Order of St. George. You are thinking of the Order of St. Michael and St. George, which is a holdover from the days when Britain controlled the Ionian Islands. It is a very attractive decoration, but it is not that high up in the orders of chivalry.
1
@laurisafine7932 That is a VERY poor definition. Generally speaking, the people who use "woke" as a derogatory term are the very people who are incapable communicating their ideas in anything more than dog whistles.

You want a parliament stuffed with a dictator's hand picked army officers?
