Whether these people like it or not, Charles III IS their king. The government is His Majesty's government - regardless of the party in power; the currency will have the king's portrait on it, and for so long as the UK (or any part of it) remains a constitutional monarchy, these people will remain as unrepresentative a fringe group as the Workers' Revolutionary Party, the Socialist Workers' Party or the Communist Party of Britain - all of whom have urged the benefits of a republic since their inception.
