The former national treasure's name was "Savile" -with ONE "l" - not "Saville" (sic), and he fooled everybody, up to and including, His Holiness Pope (now Saint) John Paul II. It is too easy to be wise after the event.

Don't kid yourself. Toad of Toad Hall has made it clear that he wants to keep his distance from a man with multiple criminal convictions.
1
That is not going to happen. The part-time MP for Clacton, and leader of the Reform quintet in the House of Commons has been desperate to put clear water between his "party" and Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon.
1
@MrSkeptik-z5r You're welcome, but do not assume that your knowledge is widely shared.
1
@MrSkeptik-z5r Actually, you are making are assumption. One of Mr. Yaxley-Lennon's supporters recently referred to him as "Tony Robertson" (sic).
1
Would that be Thomas or Oliver Cromwell?
1
@deekthepict Here comes the Jew baiter. Welcome back, Julius Streicher.
1
Stephen Christopher Yaxledy-Lennon is a recidivist with a long history of multiple offences.
1
So I repeat, because my last reply was deleted, Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon is serving time because he pleaded guilty to a charge of contempt of court, and he has a recidivist history.

@skybluescaff In the UK the maximum sentence is two years. Tommy two-Names was lucky, he only got 18 months.
1
@vinoddamji5729 Why don't you try doing some research if you want to know the answers to these questions?
1
@skybluescaff It depends very much on the cases under consideration. In the case of Sir Leszek Borysiewicz's refugee parents, any funds that were divested would appear to have been repaid a thousand fold.
1
@vinoddamji5729 In other words, your ignorance carries more weight than any fact.
1
@skybluescaff How many cases do you need? Other cases would include the parents of Kemi Badenoch; Suella Braverman; the newly knighted Sir Ranil Jawardena and Rishi Sunak. Then there is Sir Mohammed Farah, who appears to have been the victim of people trafficking.
1
@vinoddamji5729 Nobody disputes the testimony of the victims, but the first time that Tommy Two-names was convicted of contempt of court was because his actions came close to derailing the successful prosecution of a case. Why I should look in the mirror, is beyond me, I'm not the one blinded by "alternative facts".
1
@vinoddamji5729 If you bother to do some simple research you will find that a considerable number of court cases have been held, and that convictions have followed. There have, to date, been no fewer than six separate inquiries, the most effective of those being the Jay Inquiry, which reported in 2022. The then Conservative government did nothing to implement its recommendations, despite the fact that one Kemi Badenoch was the Minister for Women and Equalities at the time.
1
@vinoddamji5729 Under such circumstances, why do you believe that another such inquiry, loudly touted by an MP whose primary concern is to catch the eye of Elon Musk, is going to unearth "the truth" (however defined).
1
@vinoddamji5729 Some have been held accountable. They have been sentenced and currently in prison. Once again, why don''t you do your own research instead of asking supposedly "gotcha" questions?
1
@vinoddamji5729 Has anybody suggested that they should not be held accountable?
1
I have already referred you to the Jay Inquiry. In Scotland there was Lady Smith's inquiry into bullying and abuse in schools. In England, YEARS ago, there was the Stephenson Inquiry into the conduct of the Metropolitan Police. DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH.
1
@vinoddamji5729 Why in God's name would anybody take Peter Whittle seriously? He is primarily known for the number of times he threw his toys out of the cot when he was a member of the now irrelevant UKIP.
1
@razachaswills5076 On what possible grounds?
1
The man whose name you cannot spell is Sadiq, not "saddick" (sic).
