  1. Afghanistan and Iraq are poor because they are recovering from a series major wars. Yemen and Syria are poor because they are in the middle of civil wars. Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, the UAE and Oman are all wealthy - in some cases fabulously wealthy - and stable. Iraq could be as wealthy once it completes its post-war recovery. This video is basically garbage. It is like saying that Argentina suffers from massive inflation, and Hinduras has a gan problem because they are both Latin American, Catholic countries .
