You have a bizarre definition of the term "human". Even the Scots and Welsh seem not to qualify.

@noreenmaye781 Iran is a theocracy run by Shia clerics. Turkeye is a Sunni democracy. Pakistan is also Sunni, but its powerful military constantly interfere in politics. They have radically different cultures.

Do not be fooled by this strident minority.

@paulcourt6817 I am simply pointing out that Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon can rally a coalition of ex NF, BNP, UKIP hardliners, diluted with aging football hooligans, but while they make a lot of noise, those in the corridors of power are wise enough to ignore them.

@lilactomato Day out in London, innit?

Leeds appears to be a spontaneous reaction to heavy handed police and social service intervention in a family matter. The details are so very confused that it is impossibly to disentangle truth from conjecture, but the scenes of a protesting teenage girl and a pre-teen boy, screaming and struggling, being forced into a police van understandably upset the neightbours.

Iran currently hosts over 3.4 million refugees. Turkeye hosts over 3.3 million, Pakistan (which you do not mention) hosts just over 2 million.

@sharadsutar9692 No not be misled. This mob hate Indian Hindus just as much as they hate Muslims. They discriminate by skin colour, not by religion.

Clickbait. For "thousands" read "possibly hundreds". The turnout was surprisingly small, and the demonstrators were easily outnumbered by shoppers and bemused tourists.
1
Have you seen the age of those who were sentenced?
1
Clickbait AGAIN> There is no such ban. Indeed, the current government's policy is to advocate for a two state solution, which means recognising the State of Palestine.

No. The mosques, like synagogues, are now an integral part of the communities that they serve. Get used to it.
1
So I repeat, because my last reply was deleted, the mosques, like the synagogues, are integral parts of the fabric of the communities that they they support. They are anything but redundant.

@MAGA2024-pf4yw Islam is only a threat if you feel threatened by it. It's like monsters under your bed.
1
Why have you added a piece of irrelevant bigotry to what was a sensible thread?

More old footage. This time from Speakers' Corner. How stupid do you think we are, "Traveller"?
1
The difficulty is that it is legally impossible to deport Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon and his more vocal supporters.
1
The current UK Government has not done this. The court cases were started while Rishi Sunak was still Prime Minister and the sentences handed down by the court have been criticized for being unduly harsh. The betting is that the sentences will be reduced on appeal, even though the general consensus is that Just Stop Oil are a bloody nuisance and their tactics convert nobody t otheir cause.

"A small minority and its impact on British socidety" just about sums up this mob. Secondly, this is old news. It happened on June 1st.
1
This is crafty. Sunak knows that this is an absurdly expensive policy, whose principal aim- to deter Channel crossings - has already failed. BUT it is a policy which has the backing of a large section of the British public. By ensuring that no flights leave before July 4th, he is dumping this smelly ball in the Labour Party's lap. If Starmer agrees that flights should go ahead, he will incur the wrath of his own supporters. If he cancels the flights, he will be accused of being "soft-on-illegal-immigration".
