I do not imagine that he thinks that at all. He made a graceful gesture to mollify his hosts.

Only when Spain returns Ceuta and Melilla to Morocco.

@KennyNGA Most of the African countries where there are civil wars were not part of the British Empire. Francophone Africa has that problem.

@Wulfieman I am not sure what you mean by "Ceuta and Melilla have been part of Morocco". Do you mean that they were a part of Morocco, or that they have never been part of Morocco. If it is the latter, you are incorrect. Ceuta was captured by the Portuguese King John I in 1415. It remained a Portuguese possession until 1668, when King Alfonso VI of Portugal ceded the city to Spain under the terms of the treaty of Lisbon. It has been Spanish ever since. Melilla was captured by the Duke of Medina Sidonia, with the active encouragement of Ferdinand of Aragon and Isabella of Castile, in 1497. It has been Spanish ever since.

What, specifically, was looted from Kenya? The principal complaint there was the creation of the "white highlands" which consisted of expropriated land handed out to colonial coffee growers. They have left. the land remains..

When the British left, you could breathe the air in Delhi. Can you do so now?
