@srezzy1326 You mean like the woman in the video having a near tantrum fighting with a child? A little disgusting, no?

@ynnos5555 Too the hell bad! Kids aren't dogs, they should get a say in things. If you can't handle flying, take the train. Fighting over a window with a child is just sad (almost beyond belief). Everyone here is a disgrace.

@CDKV There is no "her window." They don't even line up with the seating rows. Sorry.

@ynnos5555 Thanks for actually offering an intelligent response, in contrast to everyone else here. The reason I made the comment is because it's clear there are a lot of child-haters here who feel kids are just a nuisance and should have zero rights. It disgusts me to see such sentiments being proliferated. The FA would empathize with you, no doubt. But in the video it's important to note that the kid doesn't have all that information and may have his/her own reasons for wanting the window shut. We can treat children so much better than we do as a society. Thanks again.

@srezzy1326 The kid is in a paid seat as well and deserves equal rights...and guess what, has feeling of his/her own. So, yes, suck it up and be the bigger person. Isn't that what an adult is supposed to be?

Have you ever been on a plane? The windows are staggered and aren't even row specific. The kid had just as much right. A "toddler" wouldn't be able to reach a window that was beyond their jurisdiction.

@saucecastillo460 Well, to hell with midgets! What rights do they deserve?

OR...children need to control tyrants like you.
1
@ynnos5555 You're not really hating on parents, you're hating on children. You think they should have no rights and be subjects of complete tyranny (yet grow up to be benevolent leaders). A child doesn't even need a parent to fly. I flew as a 4-yr old all the way back in 1976. My seat was paid and you better believe I had equal rights to the window. What we see in this video could very easily be termed an adult bullying a child. A disgrace.
1
@seeharvester Yup, and that's really all the kid was trying to say.
1
@SYDAirlineEnthusiast You nailed it. There is no "rightful owner" of a window and the airline personell has the only real say.
1
@smallgoon I've worked with kids and studied child psychology throughout my life, thanks.
1
@CDKV Look closer. (and actually go fly on a plane)

@TeeTee-2016 The woman didn't ask either and did nothing to earn her window privileges. And, no, a child can't always have what they want but if you refuse to communicate with the child you don't even know what they want or why they want it. This was a simple power struggle and I think it's disgraceful to compete with a child in that way.

@loridobos7174 Thanks for your opinion.

@CDKV I don't require anyone to believe me.
1
@CDKV I'm not arguing anything, I merely expressed my position and clarified things for anyone who was confused.

Windows aren't row-specific. The kid has equal rights to it if he/she can reach it. Sad to see an adult quarreling with a child.

@donnabaardsen5372 I grew up to be someone who advocates for those who can't advocate for themselves. Goodbye.
1
@bernardsoul5186 Nope. Windows aren't row-specific or they would be numbered. They don't even line up with the rows. If you can reach it, you have equal rights. (especially if you have child-length arms)
1
@bernardsoul5186 In fact, you can't "clearly see" any such thing. The window is between the two seats or the kid wouldn't even be able to reach it. Keep trying (and hating on kids).
