This is a shoddy mess. You kind of discredit yourself when you use a strictly postmodern deconstructive technique to try and debunk the connection between postmodernism and the left. In short, we already know that the left is premised on Marxist-socialist policy. That goes without saying. And no one is saying that postmodernism is being pushed as a viable political or economic system either in conjunction with Marxism or separately. It's decidedly un-viable because all it does is negate. However, postmodernism IS useful for running interference and undermining current systems in the interest of instituting something new. Hence, it was co-opted by the left (who ignored its incompatibility with Marxism) as a simple tool...a means to an end. To put it plainly, you're not fooling anyone.

@matiasgarciacasas558 It did. It was just a different animal based on humanism. It was also about thinking globally but acting locally. Now it's all about top-down restructuring of society, which is positively awful.
1
@matiasgarciacasas558 Which parts of what I said did you find to be "dumb shit?"

Taylor Swift deconstructs Jordan Peterson
1
@happysloth3208 What kind of social reform programs? Not all problems can be solved by throwing money at them, and in fact no solution requires money.
1
@noname-zp1yh Yeah, it simply doesn't scale. "I am, at the federal level, libertarian; at the state level, Republican; at the local level, Democrat; and at the family and friends level, a socialist." -Nassim Taleb
1
I don't disagree on any particular point but if you watch Jordan Peterson's "Reality and the Sacred" video, you'll see that his work transcends the political quagmire that you're still perpetuating. Your attempts to make the man into a caricature underscore your own insecurities and your vendetta toward conservative values (not western culture). You can do better. Concept 6 was a clever move but did not stir my heart, alas.
1
Wow, I can't believe I'm actually in agreement with Natalie on something. Except for the "vote democrat" bit, that's just as dumb as voting republican. Mostly, I'm just glad this wasn't a "defund the police" video. What's weird is that Natalie's videos seem to have lost all edge since that Twitter incident. They feel like public service messages now.

I actually do get turned on by thunderstorms...and the ocean...and eating an apple. I just wish I knew whether she says such things mockingly or with sincerity. That's what I hate about this type of presentation.
1
Only a small percentage of men do that sort of thing. Most of us are just people.
1
I find it not the least bit frightening. However, it's not very intriguing either.
1
I wish I could tell who's being serious here and who's just clowning so I knew who to rip on.
1
Why not find an identity that comes from your own soul?
1
You shouldn't exist, but since you do my whole world is turned upside down. Of course, I can just pretend you don't exist. Except I like you.
1
Is there anything you're not disgruntled about? Oh, wait--you're just cashing in. Cheers.
1
Seems like the worst philosophy of all time.
1
@ivicaignjatovic5890 Interesting.
1
No, we just believe in toughening each other up. In a tough world, it seems logical.
1
@angryyordle4640 The truth is that competitiveness is more empowering than anything you're doing. Stroking, coddling and enabling. The surest way to weaken a man is to flood him with praise and compliments. Brutal honesty is the most caring act.
1
@angryyordle4640 You'll be comfortable around people when you know how to handle yourself. Which usually involves strength, of one type or another. But you're right, brutal honesty shouldn't be the default.

You're on your way to 20,000 upvotes!

If all the left was doing is attacking the currently power structures that have gotten out of control, I'd likely be on board. But they're actually attacking the meritocracy itself, which is unacceptable.
1
"I hope you're taking all this with a grain of salt..." In its wildest lesbian dreams this video isn't worth a full grain of salt.
1
Postmodernism enables neo-marxism. Nobody is a self-declared postmodernist because they wouldn't be able to function.
1
@SimplyFelix I agree with you that the left is disorganized but postmodernism seems to have taken on a life of its own. A very pernicious one. It's like Peterson says, "When we throw out a sophisticated religious structure, an unsophisticated one comes in to fill the void." If you hold nothing sacred, postmodernism becomes the obvious choice. My issue with you is that you're underplaying its significance. I see marxism as less of a threat, but the left has re-adopted it because they have trouble competing. And because it's something that can actually be implemented.
1
18:18 What a pathetic argument. You know damn well that no one's trying to preserve the concept of womanhood. And they don't have to because they can temporarily relegate transgenderism and fall back on anatomy whenever they please. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em...until you gain enough political power to subjugate them. That's my feminist manifesto.
1
Everyone has to play a character now. Yet we're supposed to take them seriously.
1
If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen...or make a whiny video that plays on people's sympathies.
1
@bobrolander4344 Semi? Of course, because Joe Rogan is a fan of antichrist Jordan Peterson.
1
Might we conclude that a WGTOW movement could have prevented a MGTOW movement?
1
@bodyno3158 You got the first part right. The one in control (dominance) is the one who's leading the action, from the top or bottom.
1
You should tie yourself up in advance...and stop being a simp.
1
@Evelynn-y1e Yawn.
1
It can't be used as political leverage.
1
Every comment on this video is 1/3 sarcasm, 1/3 sincere and 1/3 left-wing plant. I'm developing an identity crisis just reading them. (but it's brilliant because no one can make a cogent reply)
1
It sounds like you're trying to be persuasive. Actually, it sounds like you're trying to accent the same syllables that Jordan Peterson does.
1
If you envy someone, just investigate their life more closely. I used to envy Natalie because she gets so many views but then I watched her appearance on Healthy Gamer and I no longer envied her. It's usually that simple.
1
@teodorlolovski9603 I think she's brilliant, as evidenced by this video.
1
A brilliant achievement. This watches like a primer on human behavior and psychology. (I'm a Midwest social conservative)
1
You're recommending a book to help men sort themselves out...that was written by a woman???
1
Every man has at some point in his life been "incel". Are there specific things you hate?
1
Makes no difference. Feminism has never had anything to do with the feminine, it's all about power.
1
@xixie5854 Except that in the process, femininity was entirely lost.
1
This person sounds fake.
1
@nottoday_312 I'm sorry my comment stepped on your toes. I don't have anything against Natalie now that she's tempered her jackass side (post-Twitter incident) but this video I feel is below her standard and you haven't impressed upon me any reason to change that opinion. What I wrote was honest. I have never voted for Donald Trump.
1
@flyingskyward2153 Voting against someone you dislike rather than for someone you like is ignorant. It's a big part of the reason we're in the boat we're in today. People don't think things could be worse than they were with Trump in office but the truth is that they could be MUCH worse. Hence, it's foolish to put yourself out there the way Natalie did here. It felt almost like she was playing a tool for the status quo establishment.
1
@nottoday_312 You're sitting there making my point for me. There will be no demands heard because it's just more of the same in status-quo-land. And anything that DOES happen in your favor can easily be rolled back by the next guy. It's all a game and to participate in this manner is to overtly prop the establishment, which I didn't expect from Natalie. I couldn't get through the video because it creeped me out that she would be so naive. She's really changed since that Twitter incident. Almost docile. If I'm honest, I came here looking for a fight and found the whole channel flatlined. Big Joel seems flat, too. How can I be a conservative if I have no one to fight? P.S. My best bet is that Natalie was paid to make this video.
1
This video just seems like part of a last ditch effort for women to change men. It's also a mildly clever way to make it seem like men are the ones with an identity crisis. We are NOT. Women are the ones who are changing and can't seem to get any solid ground beneath them. And in that regard, men can't help them. But I will assert that women are changing into something that might not appeal to men in the end.
1
@cinnamonpirate5294 It speaks volumes about you when you pick out the most peripheral sidebar to attack. Anywho, I'm not concerned with any of what you say, rather only disingenuous youtubers who think they're fooling someone. They are not. But obviously my comments got under your skin given the way you reacted with pure bile and vitriol. Maybe you should spend some time with that? Anyway, thanks for strengthening my central point. Oh, and don't think I don't recognize your dishonesty, too. I never said a thing about an individual woman wishing to appeal to all men and you f#king know it. Ciao.
