@minedantaken1684 No, he's really not influential. People still bask in their weakness and slave morality, and most young people don't even know who he is. If Nietzsche's watching from beyond the grave, he'd still be in just as much agony and disappointment about this world.

@ramonserna8089 Not a "self" loathing, as I don't believe Nietzsche ever identified with his natural weaknesses. I think he saw himself as highly misfortunate, which makes it all the more impressive he developed such an affirmative philosophy. But it had to be hell knowing that he himself could never become his "Overman."

I'm curious if you purposely tiptoed around the term "slave morality." It seems highly relevant here...or maybe you're planning a separate video to tackle master/slave morality??
