  1. The Bible isn't beautiful, it's a dreadful mess of prose. Perhaps the worst-written book of all time. I think Peterson's primary set of ideas are fully tenable without God in the equation. Maybe he just likes the challenge of trying to defend something so nebulous and elusive?
