She says no. She says oil pulling gets rid of both good and bad bacteria.

I would not let a dentist mess with a tooth that has no pain or signs of cavity. I'd religiously use this system and get it checked out by a different dentist later.

@doracotterell2863 I agree. He has left rude and obnoxious comments on her other videos as well, in one place, calling her deceitful. He hides behind a pseudonym but claims he's a dentist.

@dr.elliephillips thank you! That is such a relief to hear. Yes I take a xylitol mint immediately after every meal or drink, totalling roughly 6-7gm of xylitol every day. And I avoid eating and drinking for 2-3 hours afterwards, or if I do eat sooner, I immediately take another xylitol mint.

Dr Ellie, A new dentist I recently consulted told me I have several cavities. He showed me the bite-wing x-rays and pointed to several dark areas. In your opinion, is it possible to reverse cavities that show up as dark areas on x-rays by diligently following your complete mouthcare system (which I'm doing for the past almost two months)? Thank you!

@genuvsal3397 How are you doing now? Any improvements?

@dr.elliephillips Thank you Dr Ellie. If there IS this kind of sensitivity that you speak of, is it because the bacteria have entered the pulp chamber? I have one molar that has an old composite filling from 25 years ago and this new dentist said it is cracked and there is decay underneath. Sometimes (but not always) I do get sensitivity and mild pain from sweets on that particular molar. Does this mean the filling should be immediately replaced? I've been on your system for almost two months.
