This society is so deeply broken. They are steeped in paranoia, and the mindset of get them before they get us. That’s why the public cheers on any kind of sadism and depravity. Check out clips from the documentary Tantura. They interview former IDF now in their 80s about a massacre in a particular village. They’re all smiling, because they believe the film is for a domestic audience, where that kind of brutality is seen as heroic.

Wow, from the way he speaks, in his mind he and the whole state are the victims of persecution. What kind of alternate reality are these people living in? So many parallels between these lunatics are the ones in Germany last century. Absolutely convinced they are the victims, and that any kind of brutality and depravity is justified.

Founding the state of Israel, at least under the circumstances of massacres and land left, was a really bad idea. I’m not even talking about from a moral perspective, I mean look at how insane it’s made these people. The whole lunatic culture there is based on paranoia. There’s always enemies surrounding us, always the need to have tanks protecting the villages, and always the mindset that they have to attack first. What a truly disgusting society. Reminds me of that Plato’s parable of the cave; some person so cut off from truth that he thinks the shadows on the wall is what life looks like. These revolting people themselves need to be freed.

@katina55312 I totally agree with you. I believe that they arrived with the same contempt for native culture as did all other European colonizers throughout history. They thought of themselves as more civilized and had technological superiority, and did not hesitate to simply clear the Palestinians off the area. The brutality they used meant that they would always have to be looking around and paranoid of resistance and retribution, and their policy for defense has been to have a preemptive offense. This state has given rise to a culture of paranoia, where it is normal to have villages guarded by tanks, to be in perpetual conflict with all neighboring people and states, etc.
