In the 1980s it was official policy that the soldiers could brake the hand bones of kids caught throwing rocks. Their whole mindset is preemptive brutality as a form of ‘self defense.’ That is why they are loathed throughout the Middle East. Go read up on the history of Jews living among Arabs and Muslims. 1400 years no pogroms, no preventing religious worship, no ghettos, no expulsions, no conspiracies about plague or anything else. What happened to change that? A group of Europeans arrived with the intention of creating an ethno state on a land that already had people and societies. And as typical of European attitudes back then, they had contempt towards these people, even the ones among them who were Jewish.
