My God, look at the hatred in her expressions. She’s got that native Middle East blonde hair and American accent talking about all this garbage. How come none of you were thinking about the hostages before you started flattening Gaza? You didn’t even know if you were flattening them? Even on Oct 7, they were taking shelling a house which they knew had their own hostages, and they didn’t care. It was said from day 1 that the hostages were taken in order to exchange for Palestinian prisoners, so why did that lunatic government pursue that? Why did they stop the hostage exchange that had months ago?

She reminds me of that Israeli ambassador to Britain that we used to see interviewed a lot. Both are full of hate, and both have the same way of rationalizing Israeli brutality. What’s odd is this woman is identified as a journalist, but she speaks like she’s an advocate, rather than someone guided by objectivity. So in other words, she is a professional propagandist who masquerades as someone spreading truth to regular people. This is why people in the US have know idea what’s actually been happening there for decades. (To be fair, many in the US do know, but either don’t care or endorse it.)

@YusufMullan The vast majority of them think this way. I can’t reference anything else in my lifetime like this. It’s such a display of ugliness that it’s shocking.

@nicoleowens2318 I will also say something else about Americans, and how historically some have been hindered from getting a more information. In around 2002 I was in a where the local university invited Dr. Hanan Ashrawi to give a talk. Dr. Ashrawi is a well educated, English speaking, Christian Palestinian who was a member of the Oslo negotiations team. I think this was right around the time that Ariel Sharon invaded the Jenin refugee camp, but don’t remember if it happened before or after. There was so much protest ahead of the lecture, with letters to the editor calling her either a trrst or someone sympathetic to them. Then in the day of the lecture, pro Israel protestors were bussed in from neighboring cities. I think the talk went on anyway, but they did everything to sabotage it or intimidate people into avoiding it so as to not be associated with a ‘trrst sympathizer,’ etc. The US pro Israel community has put a lot of effort into keeping Americans unaware or directing them to perceive Palestinians are all trrts, etc.

@nicoleowens2318 Yes, I agree with you, however in the US I think it’s fair to say there are people who support Israel either because they believe it’s a religious duty, or because they are racist. For the latter group, it is instructive to consider that the foundational theme of American culture is that America was founded by a group of people who went against the most powerful military at time, in order to reject tyranny. The people have their ‘freedom isn’t free’ and their yellow snake bumper stickers, all a part of this cultural ideal of opposing tyranny. They witness in their own lifetimes a people who is fighting against tyranny despite overwhelming odds, yet the Americans have a deep contempt for them. These people are courageous, they are resourceful, and they follow a code of conduct, as I have seen in one video from Oct 7 where one of them is in front of a bedridden elderly kibbutz woman and her petrified Thai assistant, and the man is saying to the camera, we do not harm women. (He is armed, in their home and speaking language they don’t understand, so I get why the Thai woman is so scared). Anyway, the average American only seems these people as animals, and that’s all they will ever see of them. They will go buy their foreign junk at Walmart, celebrate their Fourth of July BBQ, talk about how proud they are to be a people who fights injustice and all of that, but they will never acknowledge any parallel between their fictional ideal and the reality of the Palestinians.

@meetings3071 This man looks Arab, he reminds me of one of my uncles. He has a very good character and he truly fair to the Palestinians. I did not know that he taught karate or otherwise worked with people in the West Bank. Thank you for the information, I will get his book, I’m sure it’s a moving story he tells.

I’ve heard him on a few programs, like the Katie Halper Show and I forget what else now, but really enjoy listening to him. He was on a Piers Morgan debate recently, and I thought he did very well.

@meetings3071 Yes, thank you, the book arrived a few weeks ago, and I read and enjoyed it. It was very interesting to get the Israeli perspective on the history, as he shares some of it through the biography of his grand parents and parents.

It’s interesting to see on her Instagram that she labels herself as an ‘expert’ on Iran (and on ‘human rights,’ believe it or not). Then you see so many of here posts are dedicated to agitating against Iran. This reminds of how in the 1990s and 2000s the cable news networks would feature a ‘Middle East Expert’ who always turned out to be a Zionist. They would present themselves as an expert of Arabs and all of this and guide the conversations to the conclusions that they had to be attacked, etc. How does this person call herself an expert in Iran, when she has likely never set foot there, and whose only interest in Iran seems to be to had its sovereignty undermined. This is how it is for a lot of these Zionist experts on the Middle East. They are brought on to news networks to convince the public that these places are a threat, and etc. When I was young a Middle East expert was someone like an Arabist, who had a real appreciation for Arab culture, language, etc, now it just refers to some pro Israel propagandist.

You’re absolutely right. They only pretended to care about the hostages once the families began protesting. They’re currently doing all of this bombing and sabotaging of aid in the name of getting their hostages out, even though any sensible person would say this directly and indirectly harms the hostages. So now the hostages are just a cover for their massacre. They are massacring them not for the sake of the hostages, but to eliminate the people, one way or another so that they can take over the land. The hostages are just a theatrical prop to justify their viciousness. Recall their using tanks against their own citizens in order to prevent them from being taken hostage, because they know that if any of their people are taken hostage it would necessarily temper the IDF military response. -Except that didn’t happen! The IDF doesn’t care about the hostages, and doesn’t even know what they look like, such that when three of them appear with hands up and shouting in Hebrew, ‘the world’s most moral army’ puts them down.

There were Christians in Gaza living among these people. Two of them, a middle aged woman and her mother were recently ‘taken out’ by IDF sniper, while sheltering at a church. As for Islamic history, there were not many Buddhists to begin with in Islamic lands, but go look up Jewish history and see that they lived in safety and prosperity among Muslims. No pogroms, bl00d libels, ghettos, or systematic gen0cide, like the Europeans did to them. Go watch the clip from Israeli TV where they show at least three times the IDF commanders claiming to have witnessed clips were lies. Always ‘unspeakable’ so we can’t investigate and confirm they’re actually true? Video shows two IDF commanders and one Israeli Police Spokesperson to International Media straight lying about events they claim they witnessed. What about sharing the IDF with war crimes for shooting tank shells and helicopter rockets at their own people? You are all racists, you don’t want to face the truth that your government is tyrannical over these people, that your society is racist and fascist, and that the state was founded upon the massacre and displacement of people. You don’t want to acknowledge that not only do those people have resentments over that, but they have resentments from problems right up to today with rabid settlers and Israel controlling everything and everyone that goes into it out of Gaza. What is that estimate based upon? Your empty head? Are you a serious adult or some crook hoping to dupe people? What you’re saying is a lie, but that doesn’t even matter in this context.
