If this is how the people think, then what do you think their actions are? And these are the people whose housing developments the government surrounds your villages with, these are the people whose soldiers show up at 2AM to your home and say they’ll be basing the next few days of operations there, these are the people running the checkpoints. At what point do you begin to really and deeply hate them, and at what point to you and your friends begin acts of resistance against them?

And to be fair, although I make A LOT of criticisms about Israel, it must have been an Israeli guy who released this footage, and he also must have been disgusted by what these people are thinking and training for. The point is that there are also people in Israel who are opposed to this garbage, or people who at one point where a part of it, and come to recognize it as wrong and then they try to do something about it.

Most of it is totally consistent with the statements and behavior of settlers, IDF and Israeli government ministers.

@noramartin96 There is an Israeli politician named Ofir Cassif and he also makes reference to how these fascist types in the society would like to do away with him. I can see it would be very difficult to break out of a certain way of thinking, and then very intimidating to try to speak out on your views against all of this lunacy.

@divineguidance520 I have a hard time believing they play this on the TV there. I assumed it was somebody snuck in a recording device because he finally got disgusted by it. You may be right; it’s not that far fetched.

The way they talk about and act towards the Palestinians is just how the Nazis did to them. They are the inheritors of Nazi racial supremacy theories and genocidal brutalities. Their ‘Never Again’ slogans were just to distract from how they themselves were manifesting it again.

I totally agree with you, it is a mix of those two movements, both of which were also brutal and sadistic, just like these guys.

This is definitely not Judaism because middle eastern Jews actually lived among Arabs and spoke the same language and didn’t think of them as a separate group with genetic problems. This is all the mindset of European colonizers who taken over some land where they have no connection to the land, the cultures or the people.

They are really a western colony that in the middle east. That is the same kind of racist talk that all European colonizers have believed about the indigenous people whose land and resources they steal. Keep in mind that this institution and these settlers are not even within Israel’s official borders, this is all in the west bank, where these fanatics set fire to Palestinian homes, poison there village wells, and destroy their crops. Israel you have had 80 years to reign in these people, and instead you only accommodate them and let them influence your rotten government and society.

@noramartin96 With some of these videos I get enraged, like the one about the tank driver from yesterday. It’s really good for me to see that there are Israelis who oppose all of this. Even the ones who come in here as trying to defend Israel, I am surprised but they are generally not racist or anything like that. They seem to be propagandized or ignorant about the history as I know it, but they are not racist and not making ugly comments. This goes a long way for me also. These are people you can at least have civil dialogue with and make compromises with. It’s a very different mindset than these settler types and the religious fanatics.

@divineguidance520 Wow, are you sure? I was thinking that someone snuck in a recording device. It’s incredible if this is actually what they say out in the open. It’s like if the KKK had their own satellite channel. Are you sure this is really played on Israeli TV?

@fightback397 Common way of speaking in certain circles, no doubt, but airing it on the TV is a different matter. Especially when they’ve got 20% of the citizens of Israel are Arab. There is no doubt in my mind that it’s a very racist society, BUT I also know there are Israeli Jews who live in mixed cities with Israeli Arabs. It’s not that the whole population thinks like this guy, and I think/hope there are a lot of people who’d reject it if this was played on a regular TV station there.
