I noticed it too, when he sort of caught himself. I think what he was thinking is ‘we value the lives of Jews above all others’ and then he mentions ‘the other people around us’ when he remembers that not all Israelis are Jews. Thats just a guess on my part.

@alizakessler Go watch that video of the guy with the Brooklyn accent saying that if he doesn’t steal the woman’s home, some else will. Go watch that video of those cavemen settlers trying to takeover the West Bank home of a Christian family last week.

The whole society is messed up, not just one man. They are hyper paranoid, and think the only way to interact with people is to dominate them or project deterrence. No awareness of what they have done to the Palestinians or the whole region to make themselves so despised.

You crazy people, you don’t care at all about innocent people or human suffering. We see everyday how brutal, sadistic and depraved your society is, from the military, to the settlers, to the ordinary citizens hosting raves while they sabotage aid trucks. There’s something deeply wrong with your national culture.

It’s hard to believe that this man seriously thinks that anyone in his government cares about the welfare of the hostages. From day 1 the military shelled its own citizens so that they would not been taken as hostages, and right after that they refused to negotiate at all for their release, except for some small batches several months later. The government is a reflection of the society in what claims to be ‘the only democracy in the Middle East,’ and from the caveman settlers, all the way to ordinary Israelis sabotaging aid delivery trucks, the only thing the people their care about is getting more land, and dominating or eliminating anyone who opposes their evil. The society doesn’t care about the people, they only care about the state. They worship the idea of the state, and it has made them all collectively paranoid and deranged.
