@dan75307 Ah thank you for the clarification. It’s odd that if his family was from Iraq, they could have anytime relocated to that area and lived as worshipping Jews, especially since the entire area was for a long time controlled by the Ottomans. I think the advent of Zionism really radicalized a lot of Jewish people. They seem to now view residing on that territory as an integral part of their religion, and has brought about a fanaticism that didn’t previously exist among them.

@shoedil812 That cult has taken over a national government, so it’s now like a state sponsored cult. A cult with all the resources of a state: financing, military, logistics, diplomatic representation, etc.
