This was a four part investigation from 2001 discussing an art student spy ring, wire talks, etc. This video was from Fox News, and while it falls short of being critical of Israel it indicates there was illegal activity happening. It’s also interesting to contrast at least a willingness to investigate 20 years ago versus it would be a major taboo up until three months ago.
