  3. Do you mean with the actions of the Jewish Colonisation Association in the late 19th century? Or do you mean when the Europeans first arrived with the intent of founding an ethno state on land that already had people and societies on it?

  4. At least vote for Dr. Stein, if she gets 5% of the popular vote, then her party will be eligible for federal funding in the next election. This is the only opportunity to break the two party system. If you believe in Trump or Harris, fine or for them, but if not, at least vote in a way that can change this broken system, that’s better that just not voting.

  5.  @LordLemoncake  That may be the case, but if she gets 5% of the popular vote, then the Green Party become eligible for federal funds for the next presidential election. Even if that weren’t the case, at least with voting for Dr. Stein, it’s a true endorsement of her attitudes and policies, rather than yet another instance of a vote for the lesser of two evils.

  6. I voted for Dr. Stein for president, and two candidates who spoke out for Palestine in the congressional races. Otherwise I left choices blank, except for in two races I wrote in Aaron Bushnell.

  8. A lot of people also loved, and continue to love, the Third Reich. You’re in the same category as them. I think even worse, because so far as we know, the Germans didn’t have being out in camps and massacred as part of their recent history, and they didn’t chant slogans like ‘Never Again.’

  13.  @tomiapple9848  Forget 76 years, go back earlier, to the first activities of the Jewish Colonisation Association. Back the the west world approved of European settler colonialism in general, and Jewish emigration to Palestine in particular. In the decades since, the Israel lobby has been very effective in portraying Israel as a just state, a victim state, a deserving state and all of this, but all of that has changed over the past year. Thanks entirely to the IDF sadistic tiktoks, and the lunacy of the Israeli people themselves, for the first time since its inception, the world is seeing the reality of how Israel is and always has been. Nobody is smearing or misrepresenting the place, the rest of us are just getting accurate insight into the society. The genie is now out of the bottle, and there’s no getting him back in. For Indians and Israelis, seeing repeated videos of grown men wearing women’s underwear is a respectable act, even more so when the underwear belongs to women who’ve fled their homes in fear of their life. Most other people see it as an act of depravity and deep psychological issues. The kind of sight they will not forget for decades. It’s very strange how Israelis and Indians cheer at things that cause revulsion is the rest of us. As I said, the genie is now out of the bottle. Indeed, there are many Israeli people who will ask ‘so what?’, but for a nation that depends heavily on western benefactors, this does matter. And for a nation state that claims it represents an entire world wide ethnic group, this does matter. It has taken longer than 80 years for people around the world to wake up, but now they are finally awake, and we’ll see what happens next. In the meantime, you can keep posting your emojis, keep cheering on the IDF lingerie shows, and keep telling yourself that this place is somehow different than the Third Reich, but my suggestion is to prepare for a rude awakening.

  14. @ Really? That’s nuts. You can still right her in, can’t you? By the way, about ten years ago I used to come into Reno to take some classes at UNR. Beautiful city, beautiful campus, and beautiful little airport. There was a family run bakery in downtown named Hommage, or something like that. It was situated in what looked like was previously a residential home.
