+First Name Last Name At this time the Vietnam crap was already going on for how long? 20 years? Just like with Afghanistan, there has to be end to it if something is not working out. Lost costs are lost.

+James Hatfield Allah or the Mormon god?
5
Frank Sherwood With FPTP the two-party system is very unlikely to change once it has been established, it's natural for such a system. Ranked voting would change things.
4
Jamima Lim Just like with gravity and germs.

***** Ever heard of germ theory? Also, it has been observed.

Lauren Gonzalez > everything that exists came into existence on its own How is that not your position as well? Your creator who is responsible for everything that exists but himself came into existence this way (or always existed), isn't that what you believe? So you do allow for some things to not have been created after all… > That means that any matter in our universe would have to have been put there by someone outside of creation... There is no "outside" if it affects us. Either it's totally separate and might not exist at all and make no difference to us, or it does have some connection to us, which makes it part of the system. > The idea that matter has always existed […]. That argument use to be knows as the steady state theory What exactly does "steady state" mean again?

Redeemed Stone > How can He be self centred if He was the One nailed to the cross for OUR sins? For the sins god created when he created the world, i.e. everything, i.e. EVERY THING.
2
Redeemed Stone So he knew how everything, I mean EVERY THING, would turn out, including the action of every single individual, when he would create the world this particular way and not another. And since he is almighty he could've created it differently in any other way, but he made the deliberate decision to create this world where you and all other humans would think and decide a certain way and not differently. How can you say you have free will if you are just following god's plan?
2
Mike Horne What's the difference?
2
Lauren Gonzalez Don't you also allow for something not to have been created?

St3a1thsniper32 What do you consider the most damning "flaw"?
2
St3a1thsniper32 What do you consider the best piece of "evidence" for your young-earth creationism? Or the greatest "flaw" in evolution?
2
St3a1thsniper32 > The Bible is your answer Why not the Quran or the Book of Mormon?
2
St3a1thsniper32 > More than 50% of the world believed that God created the world in six literal days So what? BTW, I very much doubt it because of China and India. > rejected God so that they could live their sinful lives. Do you reject Muhammad as a prophet so you can eat bacon? > The theory of evolution is just that, a theory. No. http://www.notjustatheory.com/ > US-centric stuff *yawn* > If you have any questions please feel free to ask. What do you consider the best piece of evidence for your form of young-earth creationism?
2
St3a1thsniper32 What do you consider "biased"? Everything against your view point?
2
St3a1thsniper32 Still waiting for an answer BTW. So much for "feel free to ask".

ForumLight What are ring species?
1
ForumLight So now you accept evolution between species and suddenly you put up an arbitrary wall between larger classifications? LOL, pathetic. Can you show that your classification isn't arbitrary?
1
+Cherie Jay They did research and found no use for it, paper is mentioned and shown for a split second in the video.
1
+Cherie Jay Heh, I just noticed you really called them "creationists", normally apologists like you (those still arguing for some science) would call it by its cover name: "ID".
1
+Mark Emmott Where did you learn about the death bed myth?
1
+varishnakov Do you consider your god lazy rather than omnipotent?

***** You don't trust the Russian either, right? ;P

Katie Hohman > No one is asking for their opinion to be criticized That's bad, they ought to be. > Just because it is ridiculous to you does not mean that it is or has to be ridiculous to someone else. Are you trying to say that what is ridiculous is subjective? Well, yes maybe. But I think you can pretty objectively tell whether a certain belief is more reasonable to be had than others. I am sure that it's reasonable to assume that the world existed 5 seconds and and unreasonable to assume that it didn't.

DH Dowi If we do need them there should be a way to determine that.

***** They sort of did before the 12th amendment.

Redeemed Stone > God has no control over the rash vows we make on a high. No omnipotence? :->
1
Redeemed Stone Was he omnipotent, i.e. almighty and all-knowing, when he created it all?
1
Redeemed Stone > I have free will, and I chose Him. You do so because he created you and the world exactly the way he wanted to, yes or no? Your free will can't trump his power, either he is omnipotent (and therefore omniscient) and the creator of everything and therefore he made every decision for you, or he isn't. I will ignore the second part of your post for now, until you made up your mind on whether god is omnipotent (and you therefore have no free will).
1
Redeemed Stone > I would rather discuss and debate my faith with someone who is sincerely searching. This sounds like you dislike critical questions. > Ensure you separate them forever. You can't put them at equal power though, that would be dualism. You have to believe that Satan is ultimately part of the plan of the omnipotent (and omniscient) creator of everything if you believe in latter.
1
Redeemed Stone > No, I was referring to separating God from man. You can hardly separate the creator from his creation if the creator is in full control of it and in fact decided on every ever so minuscule detail of the creation. > Until their sin separated them and us from God. You have to assume that god not only expected that but in fact chose to create a world in which this would happen. It happened exactly the way god created the world with full knowledge of all future events and all the power to have it play out differently. God is ultimately responsible.
1
Redeemed Stone > the fact that you have the freedom to choose for yourself You are still not getting my point. If God decided on everything then you don't. What exactly you don't understand? It's all predetermined.

jaron christiansen Everything is perfect?!

"hwite" used to be the norm?
1
Monarch Is there evidence the world existed last Thursday? Can you know for sure?
1
What's for dinner ? So you don't believe omnipotent god created you with full knowledge of how you will choose?

Meidhbh Kim How much proof is "enough proof" to you? Are you sure you aren't just willy-nilly applying arbitrary standards? We have fossils, DNA, genetics, simulations, lab experiments, and observations of nature (after all, natural selection is happening all the time since the environment is changing).
1
Meidhbh Kim Can you believe chichiwawas or pugs are closely related to wolves? Is this less "wtf" to you?
