Not mine. Owning people is immoral in any case.

Not entirely, people also used to be born slaves, become slaves after wars (war brides), etc.… It's disingenuous to make it seem like people just enslaved themselves.
Bible clearly says that they are property and that it's less bad to beat or rape them (Exodus 21:20-21, Leviticus 19:20). Oh and that children can be born and remain slaves (Exodus 21:4).

So how do you explain the following?

I will come back to the NT later. Even if you think those rules are abolished now, that the law didn't come from Moses and Jesus did not come to fulfill it, you would still have to believe that your god still considered it OK at some point.
