  1. I just got laid off of my job of 10 years.. :( Honestly, it's really for the best- for me. I ended up with 18 weeks pay, after all said & done. The company was hemorrhaging money, & it got bought out by a private equity firm- 86 people got laid off during the restructure. Most all of us will find better jobs where we're not forced to do the job of three other people in addition to our own, now!
