  1. Likewise I'm stuck in CA for the time being. We decided to homeschool our daughter, but we're still active in the local school board. Too often conservatives will retreat to someplace they feel they'll be left alone, but that's folly. The progressive left will come for you eventually. Even if you think you're safe. They're called the progressive left because they progress; much like cancer in that it is progressive, the left is a cancer that destroys everything it touches. If we don't keep them out of the school district, it won't be long before they will be controlling the homeschooling curricula and forcing their depravity on homeschooled children. We have to fight this because the people that are doing something, even the wrong something will beat those people who just want to be left alone. Every time!
