@josepartida1711 war is the result of failure or refusal to negotiate. I said this at the outbreak of the Russia Ukraine war, and I'll say it again. People don't just wake up one day and decide to go to war. Do your research and understand why.

@josepartida1711 before Hamas, there was Yasser Arafat. Soft spoken, well educated. You don't really have to do any research if you don't want to. You're free to believe the other side is as crazy as you are. Thankfully I don't live in that part of the world, so er, keep doing you, I guess.

@Baconsoap71 you know they had not just one but 4 peace agreements between 2014 and 2023, right? Two of them were after the war broke out, and were brokered by Erdogan and Bennett.

If your first thought is not for the two belligerents to sit down and discuss and reach a peaceful solution, a lot of people are going to die on both sides, yes, including Israel. We said this about Russia and Ukraine. Now we will say it again.

@chinapig71 it's literally the same. One party invaded the other in response to a provocation that was systematically ignored by the UN. And I wasn't talking to you, an obvious war cheerleader, but the OP, who I assume is deeply concerned about restoring peace before all hell breaks loose.

@jaimeesquivel1565 oh yes, that's exactly what I'm hoping for. You need way more deficit spending so the bond market can fully collapse and this house of cards can crash and burn in the inferno of inflation.
