  7. Lies. Those nukes belonged to the USSR, not Ukraine. UA couldn't even maintain them (they couldn't even handle Chernobyl), it was for the best that they handed it over to the ideological heir of the USSR and the holder of the launch codes: Russia. Or risk selling them on the black market to the highest bidding terrorist organizations.
