@hasdagger1916 you're repeating propaganda points. Between 1991 and 1999, what threat did Russia pose to Eastern Europe? I've asked Estonians and Latvians this question, and none of them can answer. Also, believe 1999 came way, way before 2008.

@hasdagger1916 where and when did the riots take place? Give dates. Also, civilian riots are definitely not military invasion which we're talking about. There were absolutely zero invasion threats in those years, I wonder what universe you've been living on. Who threatened invasion, Brezhnev? Gorbachev? Who? Please give dates of these so called riots- and I'm not even European.

@cyberfunk3793 last time I checked, Turkey was a member of NATO, and led by a dictator. The double standard is astonishing, but don't let it distract you from any expanding military alliance in peacetime.
