American-style Indiscriminate bombardment would kill lots of civilians. Putin doesn't want to kill innocent civilians.

@andyford2630 yeah but Ukraine was also Soviet. Yuri Gagarin's name is being desecrated in space conferences because of a war that happened long after he died. You should give a dead man his due respect.

@VOIDsick1 there's nothing crazy about it, it's logical. He had the bombs and missiles to level every city in Ukraine to dust in minutes, but instead he played with tanks for 3 weeks, losing a lot of men and equipment in the process. What he wants is the regime to surrender, but Zelensky's determination to drag this out has led to all the deaths you see today. I bet the civilians would've been much safer if they weren't given weapons by the regime ("we're fighting for freedom") and weren't being used as human shields to prevent counter fire. This is war, and an armed civilian is as good as a soldier. They will surely die.

There's no point guessing how many Kinzhals Russia has because what they've got is enough for Ukraine. Everyone else gets ballistic missiles. Happy now?
