@michaelingram7844 that was not "Russia" that was the USSR. I'm sick of seeing the uneducated miss this simple but very important distinction, especially considering the premier of the USSR at the time was a Ukrainian named Nikita Khrushchev. So since we are talking about the USSR I will refer you to the Constitution of 1921 which recognizes the independence of Crimea as a separate state, which was reaffirmed by the referendum of 2014 (which the uneducated call "illegal annexation" because they don't recognize referenda that doesn't favor their narrative as true hypocrites).

@wildmouse5888 what a way to advertise your own illiteracy about the history of numerous treaties and agreements that Russia abided by and the US broke starting with "not an inch eastward" and the strategic arms limitation treaties 1 and 2 and ending in the Minsk Agreements of 2014 (which the French and German presidents have admitted was just a ruse with which to arm Ukraine against Russia). I'm not entertaining any more questions from sheep.

@mobassey8455 dude, it was televised. Watch it yourself on BBC, the videos are still online showing their reactions to it. How daft could you be to not even do your basic research on this? If your parents didn't train you to be respectful to strangers, at least your alma maters could have taught you to do basic research. You lost out in all facets of education.

Where was Great Britain when that travesty of democracy called an election was taking place in Nigeria, your country?
