  2. They want a quick victory because they're under pressure and getting desperate. Supporting Ukraine is not easy or cheap, they've lost hundreds of billions of dollars on this war in form of aid and assets, and even human lives in firm of mercs, trainers and advisers. The EU is in a recession and the US has over leveraged it's dollar to the shock of the world, hence it's use in international trade has fallen 47%. A quick victory for Ukraine would make it feel like it was worth it. But it's not.
