Can't believe that Fox is still inviting this clueless General to make more speculations like every other dude on the street can't do the same.

@dodgynumber7533 Russia are not the agressors in Ukraine. NATO is. This war is the result of NATO's provocative expansion to Russia's borders. The more important question to ask is "why is a military alliance expanding in peacetime?" Is that more important than the problems in your countries?

@pascualhernandez3763 a sane and mature person will be thinking of peaceful means to end this conflict, not brag about how good their responding missiles are. My goodness.

the price of peace was so small, I'm sure a reasonable President could've paid it. Trump said so himself in an old interview. Ukraine should remain neutral. That's all Russia ever wanted. Ukr could still join the EU and have a "prosperous economic future" (that's what they say as the reason for the Euromaidan), but why join an expanding military alliance in a time of peace?

If Donald was President, there'd be no war in Ukraine. They had a good relationship or maybe your memory is too short to remember?

@dneuf6146 you just made up a whole lot of stories. Please go and watch the Munich Security Conference in February 2022 when Putin made reference to the Minsk Agreements for the last time before the invasion began, it's on YouTube. I can't spoon-feed someone like you who clearly has strong opinions about it. "Russia even acknowledged this" lol I don't know what you've been smoking my friend... NATO has been holding meetings with Ukraine since 2010!

I love the way you think. Unfortunately the American way is to double down.

@greathexpectations1216 if you know you have a point, explain it. I see right through your sanctimonious posturing

the USA was not protecting the free world my friend, they only made it look like they did. The USA has been propping up dictators in Africa, I mean people that mass murdr peaceful protesters. In some of these countries only 10,000 US soldiers could force the govt to hold a credible election for once. So they destroyed their countries, and their citizens flee to become migrants. By not protecting the free world, the US created a migrant crisis it lives with today.

@joedredd13215 sequence of events, obviously. As far as Ukraine is concerned, the first major provocations have began way back in 2010 when NATO started holding meetings with Ukraine. Before that, everyone was doing their thing in their own countries.

@bluemarlin8138 idiot, what former Soviet states did Russia invade from 1991 to 1999? Are you following the conversation or you just want to write your meaningless two cents as usual?
1
@Charles_Bro-son you don't know anything about the Budapest Memorandum my friend- let me tell you Belarus and Kazakhstan as well as Ukraine were parties to that treaty- however those two countries have never been invaded by Russia. Wanna know why? Because they maintained their neutrality. None of them wanted any parts of NATO, and so none poised a threat to Russia. By gallivanting with NATO Ukraine violated it's own terms of the memorandum and threw the door wide open. Please go and update your half baked knowledge- that's what you get when you listen to the news analysts that tell you the half of the story they want you to know.

@eag11e you will never step out from a bunker or see the sky for the rest of your life.

@MsWagons wait till Putin invades the next country then. What if you were wrong and he stops with Ukraine which is consistent with his "security guarantees" which he's been asking for years? In your anticipation of a Hitlerite Putin, you are fueling a war that could turn nuclear quickly.
