Your land grab argument doesn't make sense because if he only wanted the land he wouldn't have waited 8 years for UA to implement Minsk 2. If it was implemented then you can say it was a land grab and Russia was never interested in solving the conflict peacefully. Another example is with Georgia in 2008. After Russia crushed Georgia in 3 days, they never took over Tbilisi or installed a puppet government in Georgia. Does that look like a land grabbing empire to you?

My comments are the result of very deep research into the causes of the war using old sources from 2008 to 2014, long before the scheme was launched to cover the past with lies. It's crazy how different the rest of the world sees it. Perhaps you have to live outside before you can be open minded enough to look at both sides and weigh them before arriving at a fair and logical conclusion.

Both manipulate elections, both don't adequately reflect the desires of their people, both punish political dissidence and suppress free speech where required. Painting it as good vs evil is bold faced propaganda and nothing more.
