@greendogg83 no, you're the one saying that. The way I read it was, "Putin tried to negotiate with people that absolutely refused to compromise on their ambitions even when he explained his concerns, and now that their misadventure failed, they're trying to talk".

 @wznzgq1354 because admitting Ukraine was just a proxy, punches a massive hole in the propaganda narrative that suggests that Ukraine is "fighting for freedom and democracy".

@IgoArs democracy truly is inefficient, I agree with Putin on this. The US itself has ceased to be a pure democracy and is now more of a plutocracy, and the EU commission is not a democracy but a bureaucracy. The UK is led by a man who was not elected by the British. The whole argument surrounding democracy in the West is filled with inconsistencies, and Putin is probably right in that regard.

Oh yes they could. Are you even aware there were two peace agreements already signed and concluded by March 29, 2022? One was brokered by Recep Erdogan, the other by Naftali Bennett, and Mearsheimer still talks about it here! 3:30 Putin showed the AU delegation a copy of the draft treaty when they visited him last year, all objections to the war went silent immediately after. Just watch the dang video for goodness sake
