  2.  @danielhaden6674  the problems with that is America has invaded Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Haiti, Panama, Dominican Republic, Congo, Sudan, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Libya, Afghanistan, Yugoslavia, Syria, Iraq (twice), Yemen and you still support it in all likelihood. You could say "they were defending their national security" or "they were coming to the aid of people" or "they had an anti Western regime in power" or "they were defending their financial interests in the countries" or "human rights abuses" whatever .. all these excuses Russia can use, equally. There seems to be no wrong or right in foreign policy and simple virtue signalling rhetoric.

  3.  @danielhaden6674  all of these "reasons" are based on nationalism/pride, not self defense against a rapidly expanding hostile military alliance or the radicalisation of society to discriminate against German speaking people in Austria(for example). None of them have to do with self determination which is a fundamental human right recognised by the international charter of the United Nations. So they can't be compared. Rest, my friend.
