Division is being called for because laws don't work in Nigeria. I'm sure you listened to that part about Bamgboye and the SC. There are two ways to fix defective legal systems in Nigeria, by writing a new Constitution (which the govt has ruled out) or by forming new countries which then write their constitutions. Secession will become more and more popular as injustice continues. You should ask yourself why the government doesn't want to fix the Constitution, only then can you begin to understand secession. As of right now, you really don't.

@adedayoread6668 your personal beliefs are not shared by the government of Nigeria or, as we're recently seeing, an increasing number of people. Nigeria is not the utopia you sang about while growing up. It has become a cesspool of boiling hatred, thanks to the govt and their selective application of justice and law enforcement. We're yet to see how this new development will affect Yoruba harmony and unity, after our historical antecedents of being able to live in peace regardless of religion. I believe you are Muslim, because if you are not, something will strike you as off about Muslims bringing their religious laws into a Baptist school as Deola has rigourously explained. @bossrabor civil war wasn't caused by Ojukwu? Even the Eastern parliament through Mbazulike Amechi were unable to talk sense into the madman. He even went as far as invading the Midwest after he said he just wanted biafra. This is exactly why Nigerian history needs to be taught in schools again. @abdul-rasheed.lawal.7520 The school has always served its purpose until Muslims came to enforce their own laws on Christian property. What happened to the focus on learning we've seen all these decades in Yorubaland? Historically Yoruba girls were indistinguishable from their Christian mates from 3 generations ago because anyone that wants to "look holy" will wear long skirt and a beret while focusing on their studies, after which they went back to their hijabi ways outside the school. Now you people are saying hijab or we shut down the school. If you want to bring religion into school, why not go to Ansarudeen or other Muslim schools instead of tainting the legacy of Christian mission schools? This inability to respect boundaries, cultures, religions and traditions, and to dominate instead, to force and conquer, is not what Yoruba people are about. If the child does not want to wear the uniform, they should go to another school, there are thousands of them in Kwara. It's freedom of choice. Or you don't believe in freedom of choice, is that what you're saying?

APC is being governed from the top by a leadership that has since day one played an ethnic and particularly religious game in Nigeria ranging from their appointments at the federal level to the issues they react quickly to with the military and play around with in the media. The selective application of justice and law enforcement to issues are blinding evidence of what I'm saying. Muslim politicians in Nigeria have discovered that fighting political jihad against Christianity is the quickest way to votes. If the reasonable Muslims like you don't speak up or support the Christians and other reasonable Muslims that are rising to even the tide, but take sides with the politicians fighting this jihad, a lot of ugly things will happen to Nigeria as it becomes as fight for survival. Religion is culture, culture is our way of life, if you take that away from us we have nothing left. I pray the love were were raised with back in the 90s prevails over the politics of hatred and domination of 2021 and beyond.
