I didn't know extreme Islam had crept into Yorubaland like this. These sorts of things never mattered to the Yorubas, we used to see each other as Yoruba first before religious. This is disturbing and if Tinubu fails to publicly caution that rogue Imam then all the proof that we are at war is in the open.

@yusufbabatunde2913 you cannot point to me a single Muslim in Ekiti that is being discriminated against because of his religion. Because these are not the issues. The presidency of the nation is a different matter, especially when we have serious religious suspicions based on violent attacks and reprisals that have threatened the unity of the country on multiple occasions, and the president is the commander in chief. My brother you have to look at it from the other side or you will not understand because you are already Muslim. Muslim-Muslim-Muslim ticket in 2015 was unacceptable for this same reason, without ticket representation all the coercive powers of the state lie in the hands of Muslims. If it was a Christian-double ticket, many Muslims would feel threatened. Rotation is supposed to be relevant to the issues, to promote inclusion and a sense of belonging. Please reconsider your stand because this issue is going to bitterly divide Yorubas. As a Yoruba Christian myself I've seen how ineffective the coercive powers of the state made Osinbajo in buhari's government, so you see people being persecuted in the North like the girl they wasted in Sokoto and nothing is done about it. She's not a Yoruba but she's a Christian and I fear for the lives of my own Yoruba Christian extended family living in the North because of they didn't spare their own, how will they spare our own? Even if the VP is ineffective, at least he's there as a figurehead. So we don't even deserve a figurehead? You people should try to think outside of yourselves and understand Nigeria has been bitterly divided under this government and only inclusion will heal that wound. Every other thing is a shadow and a threat that will manifest later.

Like "these things(Muslims) with their lack of education and almajiri children" did you hear any of that? Hate speech not a joke.
