@ericdpeerik3928 there's no such thing as free choice where the security interests of superpowers are concerned. Cuba found this out in 1962, the people of Greenland found out when the Chinese wanted to build ports for them. You can't use your freedom to threaten a superpower. Thats an abuse of that right.

@ericdpeerik3928 Russia was weakened and unable to react to the threat when the Baltics joined. They were busy with Ukraine when Finland joined. But now they've effectively locked UA out of NATO by occupying it, there's simply no reason to let them join. The endgame is here.
