Whatever independence movement you're referring to does not exist in the present day. Kadyrov is presiding over a peaceful and stable country and nobody ever hears anything about secession or readiness to fight for being a separate country. If you don't give good examples of such a (relatively) widespread secession movement in Chechnya that exists, you'll tend to sound very similar to way the US state department used to talk about Afghanistan and Kurdistan. You crazies see them as tools that can be radicalized to destabilize a nearby country by encouraging them to become more militant than usual.

With just 7 regions bring Islamic? The UK is much closer to that milestone than Russia. Russia has a very strong Orthodox Christian majority and they take their right wing politics seriously, very similarly to Hungary. Don't underestimate the KGB.
