Some westerners say "they should pack out and move to Russia". I used to remind them that it's called "ethnic cleansing". Sometimes the hypocrisy of the West towards the self determination of Donbass shocks me. They loved self determination when it was Kosovo.

Truth. Russia is also having to do this under the heaviest set of sanctions ever inflicted on a country in history.

"bring down a country" what does this mean? USA won the war but couldn't hold the territory they captured. They still won though. However Russia can clearly hold Donbass, they have the local support needed to make this a reality.

@stevenambrose2787 I don't live in the USA, its a huge world! I live in a West African country with our own sepratist struggles so I know the pain of Donbass firsthand. We have THOUSANDS of petitions wasting away at the UN after several hundreds of our people were k1lled for demanding equal rights under the constitution. Get your head out of your a55 mate, the world is huge!

@stevenambrose2787 what's that supposed to mean? I shouldn't talk because this is a "US web site" event though Wion is Indian? The speed with which westerners rush to silence free speech when they disagree is interesting.

@Best_grass what's clear is Russia has several plans in place, allowing them to switch quickly between objectives and all of these plans lead to the same conclusion, the defeat of the Ukrainian military and the enhancement of Russia's buffer zone between NATO and the West in the Black Sea.

@GrandmasterFU666 If Russia wasn't under sanctions, Kyiv would've fallen in days under the sheer weight of hypersonic missiles. Even the USA is not safe from these weapons. Sanctions are a major impedance.

@GrandmasterFU666 "what the hell does sanctions have to do with hypersonic missles" are you kidding me, what of the electronics components and chips for weapon electronics that can't be sourced anymore due to sanctions? And the US laser system is still in development and certainly not ready for testing for goodness sake the targeting system hasn't been developed yet. You seem rather dismissive of your previously much-touted sanctions now they'tre not having the real desired effect on Russia (regime change). Anything to push that proper gander.

@dateebavguza absolutely. North Korea also isolates most of the world so theirs seems worse, but its not. From a receiver's angle, Russia is the most sanctioned in the world. Search it up and see.
