Both countries need strong security guarantees. In any conflict there are 2 parties. For there to be true peace, both must be considered. Anyone thinking they can moralize their way out of negotiation with Russia is living in lala land.

Easy solution. Sit down and accept it. If you fight it, you won't survive it. It could've been as simple as give Donbass autonomy, they'd have retained their country intact. They chose this, but it could be even worse.

@The_Savage_Wombat two completely different sets of situations and people involved. Prigozhin was allowed to leave Russia and go anywhere he wanted. He left for Belarus then went to Africa and made a video there showing he was alive. Why did he return to Russia ? It was in Russia that his aircraft blew up. It could've been Shoigu or Gerasimov's order that brought down the plane, as they were his stated targets during the insurrection. But the fact is Prigozhin was allowed to leave and his soldiers allowed to be reintegrated into the Russian army.

@borisreljanovic7292 say it out loud. Let there be no mistakes this time. Say it!

@borisreljanovic7292 was the Budapest Memorandum really broken? As far as I can tell it still works for Belarus and Kazakhstan. Anyway back to your point. Germany, Turkey, Hungary and France are opposed to admitting Ukraine into NATO. How's the formal invitation going to happen with 4 members with fingers poised on the veto button? Also, the US has simply refused to remove those restrictions because it's going to put US military satellites in the cross hairs of the Russians. These are points that have been deconstructed before. You just repeated Zelensky's "Victory plan" with all its flaws. Why do you think the Americans boycotted Rammstein? Oh well then. Let's see what will become of it.

@The_Savage_Wombat lol, you really do throw around a lot of words with fluid meanings. Good luck with that 🤣

@kadovax6567 Mariupol is pretty peaceful nowadays. You could see some interviews from the people there... Now if only there was a channel with interviews of the Ukrainians living there. I guess there is, voila! Now it's up to you to look in the right places for information you really want. Anyone can claim to be anything to farm authenticity, but nothing beats location.

@borisreljanovic7292 so you can't say it. Because you know the truth: nobody in their right minds can give it to Ukraine. I dare you to try to say it again.

@MrBoombast64 i think I've read and watched enough commentary from the pro Russian parts of Eastern Ukraine to come to my conclusion. If a Federal system of government was good enough for Germany, allowing the East to be safely integrated with the West, then it's good for Ukraine. Most of you people commenting don't know what separatism means, it happens when countries come to fundamental differences which only a honest review and addressing will help them to peacefully coexist ever again. You're stuck in the media war in your mind, but it's so much deeper than you could ever understand.

@MrBoombast64 my first comment was deleted as expected. I forgot to be cryptic to avoid getting flagged by the free speech police which is truly a testament to the similarities between Western societies and Russia. Maybe I'll try again with diluted facts. Oh sure! That's what they want.

@MrBoombast64 let's just say I know how to listen to two sides and carefully fact check them both before forming my own opinion. Make of that whatever you will, Lord Alphabet has declared it be so.

@MrBoombast64 (the free speech police at YouTube said you cannot deal with the truth)

@borisreljanovic7292 say "what it will take to beat Russia". Look at how this conversation developed.
